My Little Man

Phil's dad bought the boys church outfits for Christmas and the other night I was trying Brian's outfit on to make sure it would fit him. I was looking at him with his grown up clothes on and his new haircut and I couldn't believe how big he is already! My baby is growing up!

The Christmas Lingerie

So on Christmas Day, Jeanette got a nice surprise from her sister. The pictures below explain it all.

In addition to the surprise, Jeanette's Dad shared a comment to me saying "Looks like it's going to be Christmas everyday for you Phil" as he nugded me in the arm and winked. I just thought that was just so wrong in every way. Jeanette was horrified that her Dad would say such a thing and I just stood there without saying a word... Talk about uncomfortable!

Of course Jack had to liven things up and put on the Santa Lingerie and go around the house saying "Ho, Ho, Ho!". I think he is confused as to what Santa wears.

Here is another Clip that explains everything.

The White Elephant Conspiracy i.e. Christmas Eve by Phil Stooksbury

So it's Christmas Eve and all of the cousins gathered at Grandma and Grandpa Little's house. We have a little tradition that we have been doing on Christmas Eve which is to do a White Elephant exchange. Each person had a couple of dollars to spend on the cheapest gag gift that they can find. Below are the pictures of happy children ready to participate in the festivities.

Little did we know that the aftermath would bring a horrific result. As Jack opened his present, he got what he wanted. A plastic toy gun and police set. As you know with White Elephant gifts, the next person can take it from you. So picture a two year old excited about his new gift then getting it torn out of his hands by someone else. Some traditions shouldn't be traditions at all, we may have to think of a new one. Poor Jack, better luck next year. A word of advice for my son "Go for the Jugular!"

Disneyland

I've been taking trips to Disneyland with my friend Sara and her cute little girls for awhile and had mentioned to Sara at one point that I really wanted to see the snow come down Main Street (who knew it was just bubbles). So Sara being the wonderful friend she is said lets do it and we set the date. We usually go in the morning for just a couple of hours so going at night and staying late with just the 2 of us and our 4 kids ( 2 girls and 2 boys) all under the age of 2 scared me. But we did it and the kids were great! At one point we had to pat ourselves on the back for not only surviving our little adventure but doing it with such ease.

Here's a picture of Brian and Jack sitting on the carousel bench. Apparently the fake horses are too scary to sit on.

And here is Abby having no issues with the fake horses!
Jack and Abby waiting for the train to arrive. Who would have guess that soon after this picture was taken Jack would throw up. By the way....Jack is in love with Abby. I'm not sure if Abby feels the same way but Jack just can't get enough of her. He loves hanging out with her. So cute for now! And that would be the last of my pictures. My battery on my camera went dead. So sad, no pictures of the snow coming down on Main Street!

Turkey Day

Hope everyone enjoyed Turkey Day. We headed out to Apple Valley to meet up with Phil's side of the family. Phil's Uncle Ron and Aunt Janet always put on a nice spread every year and the boys had a great time playing in their backyard.

The ugly traffic on the 15 as we slowly made our way to Apple Valley

Thank goodness we have a DVD player! Jack was all smiles watching his movies

Brian enjoying the ride as well

It was chilly out in Apple Valley but it turned out to be a beautiful day.

October

The Halloween pumpkin carving extravaganza. This year's winner was Danny and Shanny's pumpkin which is not here because they are in Idaho.

Here's Randy pretending that he is Princess Leia. I think Princess Leia needs to shave.

Brian having fun with Papa.

Cowboy Jack. We decided to dress Jack up as cowboy due to his obsession with guns. Here's hoping that he doesn't need therapy.
